With and Without

It’s not exactly about the Moon but I’ve stored my first-ever attempt at writing a poem here. Click on the above link if you find that sort of thing interesting. I’m very much a words and numbers person, which is why I find drawing so challenging. I guess the verbal side of my brain had to assert its creativity in compensation for the effort I’ve been putting in learning to sketch.


On a Hill Late at Night

My favorite poet is Wendell Berry. This poem is from his collection “Farming: A Hand Book”. It’s not about astronomy or sketching but I’ll bet a lot of people who love astronomy will recognize the feeling it it evokes.
